Snowpack

From the summit there was very little visual evidence of avalanche activity looking around the mountains. One east facing point release south of the cross into the bowl of tears, and a few other point releases looking around. Possibly a large slab on a peak to the west that had a large wind load and cornice. We set off a small wind pocket in the choke of the Cross, about 1 foot deep and perhaps 20x0 feet, it did not step down. We dug a pit east of the summit just below the roll into the cross, not the best spot, but nothing there concerned us
