Weather

Mostly sunny skies with Ruby Range still covered in cloud. Wind was calm except for light to moderate wind at ridgetop. I did not observe any snow being transported. Settled storm snow measured 14 cms.

Snowpack

Snow surface moistened today on most aspects except northerly, but no rollerballing or signs of wet instability.---No current wind loading and wind-drifted areas from yesterday were not reactive. No cracking in any storm snow or signs of instability.---Dug on an easterly aspect. ECTP12 44 down below lower of 2 crusts. Upper crust is an inch thick and knife hard so it would take a big load to affect anything underneath.

Good visibility this morning and no signs of recent avalanches anywhere.
