We went out in hopes of skiing 8812 bowl today, Bailed before gaining the bruins ridge due to Wind loading on the NE Aspect. On our way up we saw serval small(R1/D1) slides on similar aspects. We observed a few shooting cracks while breaking trail, mainly on East aspects.The two largest extending about 10 meters. A small rider triggered(ss-ASr-R1-D1-I) occurred on a smaller east facing convexity on our exit. no major whomps where heard. The skiing is nice in sheltered locations!
