Bow Lake/Crowfoot Mountain

I was parked at the Bow Lake view point. I watched what appeared to be a slough avalanche cascade down a gully on the north end of the northeast face of Crowfoot Mountain (first photo taken afterwards for location). A few minutes later I heard a larger avalanche but could not get a visual. It ran for a longer duration. It sounded like it was towards the Crowfoot Glacier area (second photo). There was a light wind and the temperature at the parking lot was approximately -4C
