Parks Canada Visitor Safety responded to an InReach SOS activation on the col between Mt. Green and Parsons Peak. A group of four triggered a size 2.0 avalanche on an unsupported terrain feature while boot-packing up the col between Mt. Green and Parsons Peak at 2460m on an East aspect. The crown was 30-40cm deep, 40m wide and ran for 300m. All four members were caught, pulled over the cliff below but remained on the surface. One of the members suffered non life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Hospital for further treatment. The other three were uninjured.
