Observed extensive whumpfing in the morning, this seemed to stop in the afternoon. Saw many avalanches slide off cliffs on crowfoot mtn above the glades, up to size 2. Tests were preformed at treeline: R-Block tests caused new storm snow on crust interface (45cm) to slide when skier attempted to stand on block. Compression tests got result at 3-4 wrist taps. Depth hoar failure at 6-8 from wrist. 240cm snowpack. Other observations: pinwheels releasing on west and south aspects in the afternoon. numerous slides to 1.5 seen across the hwy from previous day.
