Calm day, with increasing clouds.

Avalanche

Skied the N off high pt 12596 (south of red 2), as the slope wrapped around to a NE I traversed under some rocks seeking the softer ripple snow. I took a turn or two on breakable crust/ ripple snow, and kicked off a small r1 d1 avalanche that moved very slowly. I couldn’t tell if the avalanche triggered from my feet, or if it triggered above me.
