We skied the slopes just above Black Tusk Meadows. There were about 35cm of new snow in the morning which were not yet bonded to the crust underneath. It continued snowing and winds picked up. Skin track was snow covered after each run. Thin slabs started to form in wind exposed areas so we stuck to the lower slopes and turned back around noon. Snow was very heavy and sticky at Taylor Meadows.
Snowpack
About 30cm new snow on top of thick crust, not bonded yet. Strong wind gusts developed over the course of the morning. Wind slabs beginning to form in exposed areas.
