Significant wind transport building wind slabs on lee aspects at treeline and above, reactive to skier traffic on steep and unsupported terrain. Great day of skiing in windy conditions. I

Snowpack
Test profiles on NE aspects between 1400-1900m, height of snow 115-130cm: Easy sudden planar results down 15cm on 3-5mm surface hoar, well preserved in compression tests. Moderate sudden planar results down 30-40cm on Decomposing 3-5mm surface hoar in compression tests. Hard sudden collapse results in deep tap tests within basal facet layer down 130cm.
