Another good day around RMR. Visibility was poor in the alpine in the morning, but ok around treeline and got better later in the day. The little snow refresh from last night was nice, and again east and north aspects skied well where there was no wind effect. We found a little sketchy and punchy wind slab at tree line on a shallow unsupported feature, no propagation or cracking, but tricky to navigate.

5cm to 15cm of very light new snow in the alpine. That steep face we went up had 2 layers of crust over loose facets within the top 60cm. A moist and punchy slab was forming at ridge top and in the start zone in that area mid afternoon.

Just a summary. A few Natural loose dry in steep, shallow and cliffy terrain from last night or this morning. Another one was a small skier triggered in shallow terrain which ran over the ski track we used on a large and fairly steep south facing slope.
