Lots of large whoomphs as the surface hoar layer collapses while we traveled through the meadow. Once attempting to climb up ridge we had continued whoomphs as well as remote triggered a couple of S1 loose dry slides. We opted to bail and ski some safer slopes below. Unfortunately we didn't find a safe location to dig a pit.
Avalanche
Observed a remote trigger of a convex roll by the party in front of us today. Slab that slid was 5-8m wide, however fractures continued for another 5m on either side of the slab. (Total width ~15m) Bed layer was buried surface hoar sitting on a decomposing crust with facets below.
