Am I in Kananaskis? Unbelievable powder at Purple Knob today and few groups out. No new avalanches observed. We skinned up to the top of the trees (2280m) and the snow quickly showed some wind affect and small cornices at the top of the drainage. Another group skinning further up didn't appear to have much ski pen. Deep powder at treeline and nice temps (-16C). Snowing lightly throughout the day.
