Skied Helen Shoulder today. -17 on arrival, but warmed very quickly. Was -3 at the car when we got back. Sun felt very strong. North facing aspects skied well (25 cm pen). In an initial probe of West facing aspects directly facing the sun, found they were sun affected with a crusty slab about an inch thick on the surface.
