The overall snowpack depth ranged between 80 to 100 centimeters on south aspects near 10,000 feet. The surface crust had softened and the top 15 cm were moist. There is a 2 cm layer of facets below this layer. The mid-pack is generally finger hard rounding facets with a 2 centimeter crust at about 55 cm from the ground. The depth hoar layer is about 30 centimeters deep, with rounding grains. Extended Column Tests only produced non-propagating moderate results at the facet layer 15 cm from the surface.
