Snowing steadily all day. Mild temperatures. West to northwest winds, moderate to strong.
Snowpack
2-3ft of new snow. We traveled primarily on lower angle South facing slopes near and below treeline. Cracking was noted in the new snow near treeline, although generally did not propagate very far. On small, steeper (low 30s) rollovers storm slabs would crack but not run very far (mostly due to terrain constraints). Storm slabs were reactive on steep, sheltered slopes below treeline as well.
