Vail Pass area. Upper Teles ridge. ESE aspect @11,500ft.. 5 inches new snow @9am, little higher water content than yesterdays snow. Warm day below treeline when the sun was unobstructed, high 20's. Enough clouds to keep a crust from forming on sunny aspects. Winds above treeline moderate, W 15-20mph, picking up at the end of the day. Beautiful day to be out.

Avalanche

1 small release sighted this afternoon @3pm. Estimated as SS-N-R2-D2-S. Looked like debris ran into trees below, may have started as point release off small tree top right of slide and stepped down.
