Avalanche

First observed from Resolution Mountain Road at 10:20am. We did not see the avalanche in motion but based on the snow and wind overnight and how our tracks from the previous day had been covered, I'm certain the avalanche occurred the morning we observed it (2/23). It was immediately clear that it was human triggered. There were 2 sets of tracks off the summit of Ptarmigan Hill, one that lead directly to the staunch wall. The crown line appeared huge, even from that distance. As we continued our tour and gained Wingle Ridge, the full scale of the avalanche became apparent. Approximately R3, D3. From this angle higher on the ridge, we could see an exit track that appeared to align with the entrance track. This person was VERY lucky.
