Snowpack

By 8:45 am, sinking to ankles (if taking off skis) on east aspect on Coon Hill at roughly 12,200'. Seemed very early to be softening up so much. Some collapsing at lower elevations as well as I was skinning up.

Avalanche

Multiple (5 or 6) wet loose avalanches that my best guess ran yesterday (5/31). On almost all aspects. All above treeline. Relatively small debris fields - D1 or maybe D1.5
