Weather
Visibility was limited so it was hard to tell if there was active wind loading. Definitely less windy than yesterday (10/20). Bursts of heavier snow but in general snow rates were 1 cm/hr or less.
Snowpack
Short hike in the snow without skis near Fremont Pass. Storm total was measured at 18 cm near treeline. No old snow existed prior to this series of storms starting on October 19. I didn't travel in places that would be concerning such as heavily wind-drifted slopes near ridgetop. Wind effect was minimal below treeline and I did not have any avalanche concerns. No shooting cracks or other signs of instability observed.
