Mostly sunny and cool.
Snowpack
Conditions remain fairly stagnant with the continued dry and cold weather pattern. Paths still have surprisingly good coverage despite 5 weeks of mostly dry weather. Cool temperatures have prevented most paths from losing significant volume (with exception to Slate Creek and Barlow Banks, which have burnt back to bare ground). Sunny slopes closer to Rico have gotten thin, but remain snow covered. I imagine this will change as temperatures warm into next weekend. Water has made it through the upper snowpack in some locales, though the snowpack remains thin and weak overall. The snowpack on shady slopes is completely faceted, very fragile and will not tolerate much of a load.
