Avalanche

We saw a pair of avalanches. They were likely not from today but from a few days ago. Avalanche 1 was shallow but had a long fracture, maybe 100 meters. It slid to the ground (see photo). I looked for ski tracks coming into it but didn't see any. It is a slope where I have seen ski tracks many time though. Avalanche 2 was east of the first one, starting in a band of rocks. This was not as wide, but looked deeper. Both of these seemed to be natural.
