A blustery day with lots of snow moving around.
Snowpack
As always in this area there was a lot of variability. The new snow amounts BTL where there was little wind effect was 30 to 40cm. NTL had about 2m of snow and had the most active wind slabs located on north and northeast facing features with crowns up to 15cm deep. ATL south facing slopes had around 150cm upwards of snow and it felt very firm. The recent storm seems to have created a couple of weak layers in the upper 50cm of the snowpack that were propagating in snowpack tests. Northeast facing slopes had upwards of 150cm of snow with what felt like a weak base and very solid midpack with a similar sandwich of weak layers close to the surface. ATL north and south facing slopes had been swept clear of new snow but anything with a little east had obvious snow drifts.

Multiple crowns were seen in steep alpine terrain from the last 24 to 48 hours.
