INSTABILITY COMMENTS Although we did not observe any cracking, the new snow was thick and was slabby like a soft storm slab.8-10' NEW AND DEEPER IN WIND DEPOSITED PLACES. There was a lot of old skier traffic so, most of the new snow was sitting on aged hardened or disturbed snow where we were traveling.
