Snowpack

Below treeline coverage is generally thin at the moment. I expect this incoming storm will increase the proportion of slopes with enough coverage for slab avalanches below treeline. The Kebler Pass to Paradise Divide area is an outlier, with more continuous weak snow up to an HS of 60-80cm right now. On Snodgrass, as an area that represents a mid-ground between the deep snow areas and the down-valley dryer parts of the zone, coverage is still very thin. Not enough coverage on the lower mountain to move around on skis with out grounding out constantly. Shady areas are barely a foot deep with weak faceted snow that doesn't cover the vegetation.
