Toured to the Wapta icefields with plans to do mt.Thompson. A windstorm started to pick up and lash the area as we were at Bow Hut. We turned around at the ridge adjacent to the onion but the slopes we had taken up were now very wind loaded. We safely made it down from the hut without triggering anything but once we entered the drainage pass closer to Bow lake we accidentally triggered 4 small slab avalanches. The biggest had a crown of about 20m and a thickness of 20cm
