We did not find a prominent crust around 40 cm down at our pit spot dug between the Devil's Thumb and Beehive right above the Northwest shore of Lake Agnes but we did poke around with a ski pole under the Devil's Thumb (fan) where we did feel a crust 40 cm down. Therefore this pit may not be representative of the area.

Avalanches in this report include ones witnessed from approximately 10am till 12pm and after on the 5th. They appeared to be point releases, I believe typically originating from sun warmed rocks. We also saw some old small loose drys on the north western aspects that had happened in previous day(s).
