An amazing day of skiing out near Paleo. Good ski penetration was found on most terrain, with soft unconsolidated snow. Appx. 15-20cm, with no slab properties felt. Some windslabs were seen on surrounding steep terrain. We skied a SE face, and it was consistent powder.

Lots of small wind slabs failing near ridge tops on east-ish facing terrain. Winds appeared to be reverse loading, blowing against cornices, and causing failures right beneath cornices or on steep alpine slopes. A few also observed on other aspects (W) and winds were swirling. No step-down or long runout, with most terminating in the start zones. We also saw one older cornice failure, which may have triggered a few other wind slabs. The cornice debris was buried partially, and may have been a week or two old.
