Weather
Crisp blue skies and warm temperatures. Winds above treeline were strong enough to keep surfaces frozen except for due south-facing slopes at 2:00 pm.
Snowpack
Near and above treeline, aspects that have been wind-scoured all season are now bare and melted out. The persistent weak layers in the upper snowpack are finally no longer showing propagation in most areas, propagating results in Extended Column Tests are isolated to very high elevation northerlies. Above treeline and in the higher portions of near treeline, northerlies remain generally dry. Near and above treeline southerlies are beginning to see full depth gouging with some wet-slab propagation.
Avalanche
Many loose wet avalnches near and above treeline on southerly and west-facing slopes. The most notable were in the Maroon Creek drainage where Maroon and West Maroon split
