Snowpack
New snow depths varied 1"-8" depending on aspect and wind protection from tree cover. Firm/slick old snow underneath. Cornices and wind slabs forming on leeward slopes (NE-SE)
Avalanche
Skier triggered small avalanche (R1, D1) on steep (36 degrees?) NE facing pitch below ridge. Crown 2-8" deep and 12 ft wide
