Sunny and very warm (well above freezing), breezy out of the west.

melting rapidly below treeling, becoming unsupportable by 11 AM at treeline. Snow depth varied greatly by aspect and elevation.

R1.5, D2, East aspect near treeline. Appears to have been a wind slab triggered by loose wet avalanches. Slid recently, probably around April 24.
