Coon Hill Eastern aspect Bluebird! Temp was 30 with no wind.

Snowpack

8-14" of unconsolidated snow from Coon hill summit to valley, all eastern aspect.. Thin, crusty top layer, seemed to be wind slab in some areas and others were all powder.

Avalanche

First skier triggered small avalanche after stopping at the top of a concave feature at roughly 11700. The terrain immediately above was convex. Crown was about 7"and 8' wide. Ran for 50-60 feet.
