Windy with plumes visible on the peaks and ridges. Skies began clearing around 0930 and the temperature was in the teens.
Snowpack
Measured 11" of new snow with a snow water equivalent of 1.1" in a slightly wind effected location at the Upper Lost Man Trail Head at 0900. This new snow fell on bare ground in the East and West Roaring Fork avalanche areas. On more north facing slopes like Independence Mt. A-C the new snow covered old snow. Wind loaded slopes were visible on North and East aspects with continued loading also visible on these slopes.
