20-25cm of fresh. Variable depth NTL at 11,800 in the start zone of a very popular run. ranged from 65cm to 100+cm in wind affected areas. Hardness- New snow F ---->4F/1F midpack----> F lower pack to the ground. October and the first Nov precip event are co-joined into a 5-8cm basal facet layer on the ground. New/old interface was most reactive, albeit not going anywhere on the slopes we observed and rode (35 and below). Very limited cracking and collapsing in the early am-
