New snow

Climbed Assiniboine yesterday just in time before a major change from today's new snow. At approximately 8am it hailed, thundered, cracked then rained at lower elevation and high above the mountain had a fresh blanket to the base.

Before today no crampons necessary. With today's snow and possibly more in the forecast, likely not the case any longer.
