Weather

Clouds broke quickly around 10am with blowing snow ATL. Mild temps by mid-day as moderate winds gradually eased.

Snowpack

Solar aspects on Molas held a mixed bag of recent snow, soft melt freeze crust and 4F wind slab. Alpine vertical cornices looked sharp and tender. North facing terrain above Coal Creek held settled, cold, low density snow. No obvious signs of instability in either zone.
