Cooling with wind building through the day.

Snowpack

Slowly building with 10cm of newer snow on a slab that sits on facets at ground. We dug two pits. While only 200 vertical ft apart and on the same aspect they were very different in nature. The video highlights the difference. The area subjected to more wind had a far touchier pack. We kept the angles down when riding out.

Avalanche

Did not see any but heard a lot of explosives being deployed at Loveland Ski area.
