Weak. C'mon. We all know it's junk out there.
Avalanche
West of Vail Pass. Small starting zone at around 10k ft in elevation. WNW facing slope. Starting zone in upper 30 degrees angle running into a lower angle gully and partially taking out a slope adjacent to the gully. Could not see how much of the starting zone slid. Slide ran the full length of the path, approx 900 vertical feet. Large chunk of debris left in piles on slope and large deposition in the run-out. The slide was snapping branches and bending trees as it went. There were branches in the deposition. Triggered remotely from lower angle terrain in the trees.
