Weather

Morning began with overcast skies and light snowfall. Light winds with moderate gusts.

Snowpack

HST in this area, near Cascade saddle (tucked up against spine of Ruby Range) was around 12" with 1.25"SWE. New snow well bonded to old surface on south and southeast slopes.

Avalanche

Numerous small, dry loose avalanches on north and east aspects near and above treeline. One wind slab in steep leeward terrain directly below ridge line.
