Calm and clear skies but still very cold.
Snowpack
We traveled mostly on northerly aspects. The snowpack is a lot weaker and more reactive the lower in the terrain. Below treeline we experienced collapsing on almost any untouched slopes even on the lake. BTL and NTL, there is a prominent weak layer about 50-70cm down of about 2mm facets. Extended Column Tests had no results near treeline. Above treeline the weak layer facets were about 1mm and less obvious. There is a red dust layer at the bottom of the new snow.
