Light on and off snow (T to S-1) during the day with occasional patches of snow. . Below treeline, calm to light wind from the W. On the ridge of Browns gulch at 3pm, there was moderate wind from the SW, and saltation of the snow.
Snowpack
At 12:15 there was 5.5 cm of new snow in the parking lot for Browns Gulch. At 1:50pm at approx 11,600' there was 7cm of new snow measured, with crusts at 7cm and 29cm below the surface of the snow on a WNW aspect below TL. Southerly slopes below treeline were baked/stripped bare and above Treeline, there were also bare patches on W and S aspects.
Avalanche
Many old D1.5 avalanches along CR 14 on the way up to Browns Gulch, on N and W faces BTL from the natural cycle on 02/24
