Sunny Day ~35 deg F, winds reaching gusts of ~40 Considerable danger- we're not going into avy terrain. Recent storm 4 days prior (wed night-Sunday) left 6-10" of nice stuff that would get real heavy with sun Hella cornices along the whole ridge

Snowpack

We tested at/slightly below treeline on a NW aspect (opposite of avy) and found 4 potential 'trouble' layers that were strong/faceted under 120cm from surface. Still didnt feel like load was large enough for anything on this aspect. (base is a foot of sugar didnt take pictures sorry

E/SE D3? Crown @ ~11900', debris running through W Grouse Creek basin for >0.5mi Aspect between 40-45. Looked to be 2 distinct crowns -N Crown (lookers right side, close/underneath camera in photo) larger by about 150% More SE Facing -S Crown Sympathetic release from after the right side went? Hangfire on the far lookers left more E facing
