Storm moving in during the afternoon, some graupel snow, winds variable from 10-20 mph at ridgeline (9,600').

Day 3 of Never Summer Outdoor School AIARE 1 Class, dug pits at approx. 9,600', East facing. Snowpack depth was 120 to 130cm. Both pits found no propagation in storm interface layer (25-30cm below surface). Both pits found layer approx. 40-45cm below surface with positive ECT results. 1 - buried SH layer, 40 cm below surface, ECT17P, SC.
