Weather

Cold and windy with light snow showers continuing throughout the day.

Snowpack

Weak snow below treeline made any travel off trail difficult with snowmobiles. Strong winds and plenty of snow for transport created thick drifts along roadways and was noticeable on open slopes and cross-loaded features. With limited visibility it was hard to see much in the alpine. What we did observe was plenty of westerly slopes scoured down to rock with only deep gullies holding snow.
