Snowpack

The Telluride area picked up 17.5" of new snow from 12/24-12/29 and 5.5" of snow from 12/31-1/2/2019. The predominate flow from both of these storms was from the south/southwest. Winds were strong enough during the storms at times to move the low density some onto leeward slopes.

Avalanche

Large rider triggered avalanche in Delta bowl in the Bear Creek drainage outside Telluride. This avalanche was triggered on 1/2/2019.
