Snowpack

Partner and I did about 5 hand shear tests on northern aspect ATL at 12,000-12,400ft. Slope angle varied from 32-36+ degrees. Results consistently showed HS about 1.5- 2ft over the base ice. Hand Moderate, with first weak layer 18-22” deep and second weak layer 4-5” deep. We transitioned and decided to come back next spring.
