Weather

Scattered cloud cover with temperatures in the upper twenties in the morning. Around midday transition to overcast with temperatures in the low to mid thirties. Wind was calm initially and increased from the SW (5-10 mph)

Snowpack

Storm snow is dry to moist with about 26 cms resting on the underlying melt-freeze crust complex. The storm snow was stuck onto the crust and any instability in the recent snow has settled out. Water has moved through the snowpack below the melt-freeze crust and pooled and formed ice layers at interfaces previously identified.
