Snowpack
Significant variation with slight elevation and aspect changes during the route from soft to hard wind slab. Stopped to dig a pit at 13000 feet before deciding which slope to descend. CT-3 5cm poorly bonded wind slab CT23 Q2 layer at 65cm. Decided to ski the lower angle NE slope ~30 degrees instead of chute from the summit 35+ degrees. Intentionally releasing Small cornice at top of line which disturbed the wind layer where it landed but did not release an avalanche.
