Weather

CLR, slightly warmer than yesterday, continued strong NW winds in the alpine while light westerly winds made their way through the basin.

Snowpack

11,500' north aspect: HS 200cm, upper 50cm is F-4F-P on top of 50 cm of 1F hard faceted grains. ECTX. Similar structure and test results found above this location at 11,900' north aspect. No signs of instability in the northerly terrain near and below tree line. Observed a new wind slab on a SE aspect @ 12,000' as winds continued to move snow onto this aspect in the alpine.
