Quest mountain area

We mostly rode trees, burns and touched into cut blocks. The day was foggy with poor vis for most of the day. Snow was fairly deep with a definite layer about 30-40 cm down. We were aware of the avy conditions, while crossing a steep area on an old logging road, we assessed one steep short face and made the decision to attempt it on a downhill line, a foot on to the face the whole hill slide creating a class 2 slab avalanche, pictures are attached. Use extra caution!!
