Weather
Not much new snow in the last 24hrs. Overcast sky. Light to moderate eaterly winds above 11,500ft.
Snowpack
Near the ridgeline and above 11,500ft, easterly-facing slopes were blown back to old crusts. Northerly facing slopes showed signs of previous winds blowing up the slope, then today they were getting cross-loaded by easterly winds. Basically, multiple different wind loading patterns existed with the varying wind direction over the last 48 hours. The few wind slabs I triggered took a little effort and I didn't observe any remote triggering or real reactive slabs in this terrain.
Avalanche
Triggered a couple of small wind slabs on cross-loaded pockets in northerly facing terrain. Crowns were 2 to 6 inches thick. Skier triggered small sluffs on steep wind-protected slopes.
